THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! KEVIN. Truer words were never
spoken! You are soooo right, that I can not add anything else except
to say I hope that cooler heads will again prevail, i.e. pre 9-11,
and the US and Canadian Govt's. Will begin, again, on efforts to make
this draconian border system between us a thing of the past.

Just one postscript. I don't know if you were aware of it, but
those "student pilots" in the US on US Student Visas, actually had
their visas renewed by the US INS in December 2001; 3 months after
they crashed those planes into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon!!!
Even if they were not terrorist, what the hell were INS issuing
renewal visas to dead people? And the US Government wants to try to
place the blame partially on Canada, and those evil Canadians who,
according to the right fringe reactionaries, feel that the northern
border should be locked down with 25,000 reserve and regular US
troops. And all because we have given to many Canadians "easy
access" across our undefended border. It bugles the mind.
