More:
1. Nautical Marker--Seimahmoo Bay:
immediately west of the Blain/Douglas crossing. In the distance you can
see the cleared vista which is actually Roosevelt Ave. in Point Roberts.
And the border!
2. Train-tracks-looking-south: Looking into
the USA along the train tracks that run along the water.
3. Marker-central: Looking east from the
train track. You see here a sign marking the border for the train
engineers, border marker #5, marker #5a behind that, a nautical marker, and the
Peace Arch.
4. Train-border-crossing: This shows
the boundary sign, looking south. Train is on my right -- west of the
sign. I am in Canada.
5. Border-line-up: Traffic starting to
build, heading to US Customs and Immigration. This is about 4pm on a
Sunday.
6. #5-US-side: #5!
7. Peace-arch-sunset: The Peace Arch, looking
south-west. Sunday, November 3rd, 2002.
8. Peace-arch-speed-sign: A friendly
reminder!
And that's enough hogging bandwidth for one
night. My apologies if these postings cause you grief & downloading
angst.

Best Vancouver excuse for being late for
work:
"A movie was being shot and they detained me for
continuity."
