well my old mac wont hear of this
tho i do know that the city
or rather its electorate
will decide only if it desires to move the line

but then 2 govs & 3 legislatures must actually decide the matter

anyway the mentioned establishments are properly called
cottontail ranches
by all respectful nevadans

& only frustrated polygamists
or schizophrenic theocrats seeking freedom from religion
could euphemize them into guest ranches

the real problem tho will come when moralists of any stripe
realize that moving the state line across the cottontails might be
construed as a technical violation of the mann act
that funny old federal title
which earnestly forbade & still forbids moving women across
state lines for what it was originally pleased to call immoral
purposes

thats right
chivalry has long been dead in america
ever since the mob era
i believe

for even in gloom of night or chill of winter
these hard working women
over long decades
have had to get out of the car & walk across the state line
completely under their own steam
or their immorality & interstate travel has been illegal
ipso facto
in both states thus violated
even nevada

now whether moving the state line across the women
assuming they remain stationary
is technically legal or not
this might have to go to the supreme court

but failing that
there would just be no reliable way for moral & legal people
in east wendover
or salt lake
or carson
or dc
etc
to legally move this line across their immoral townsbunnies
unless all the cottontails got up first
& moved themselves properly to nevada

but then why bother moving the line at all

& what a terrible precedent it would set

next thing you know
the bonneville salt flats will want to join nevada too

then the whole freakin great salt lake desert
& finally salt lake city itself
gasp
not to mention washington dc
etc etc
will all want to join nevada
whether contiguously or
horrors
exclavically

well
so you see
it just isnt worth thinking about a moment longer
