Mayotte is at the southeasternmost extremity of the archipelago, so
it doesn't become enclaved. It comes with the full French 200nm EEZ
claim, although that is contested in all France's Indian Ocean
possessions (except for the Mauritius/Reunion boundary).
On the basis of equidistance lines, Mayotte would have EEZ boundaries
with the Comoros to the N and W, Seychelles to the N, and Madagascar
to the S and E. Part of its EEZ would merge with the EEZ claim of the
Iles Glorieuses, a small group of French islands north of Madagascar
and south of the Seychelles.
