According to what I found on the net the population of that "city" is 50 persons. It seems all are at CFS Alert. Earlier it used to be 200 personell there.

That makes that settlement probably a Jan Mayen type.

So what is a city? I always thought that Alert in Canada was the northernmost city of the world. But I don't know how many people live there, let alone if they have some sort of an elected council and a mayor...
