three topics:

1) EU seccession:

Greenland was not the only case; Algeria also seceeded from the EU
(at that time known as European Common Market when it became
independent. Formerly it was part of France.

2) Guyane Française, Martinique, Guadeloupe, La Réunion, Açores,
Madeira, Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Penon de Velez de la Gomera,
Penon de Alhucemas and the Chafarinas Islands are the only non
European territories that are part of EU. In order to know which Non-
European areas are part of EU, just look at the map on any Euro
banknote.

3)Faerörer is. are outside EU, just like british sovereign places in
Cyprus and Aland Is.. The EU treaty has a veeery limited application
on Channel Is and on the Isle of Man. (compare art. 227 of the EU
treaty).
