Of
course Greenland and the Faroe Is. are not parts of mainland Denmark! In 1814
these territories by a work carelessly and superficially
performed became Danish when Norway was forced to choose a Swedish king
(instead of a Dane who had become a Norwegian and was forced to go home and
apply for a Danish passport...).
Nevertheless I cannot say that DKc seem much balanced according to weight
of land! They have simply chosen the most simple way to get there. Of course it
is also a way to do it.
Peter
S.!, if we should count Queen Maud Land as a part of my old land's mainland, NOc
would probably be in or around Gabon (!), but according to my sources it is
somewhere here . (Very
well inside NO, thank-you-very-much!!! ;=)
