Thanks to Mr Keene, I have become aware of three more
county-level fragments. Two of them are for all
intents and purposes confirmed. The other one shows
up in Mapquest and county maps, but not clearly in
census maps, Topozone or Delorme.
1) A fragment of Loudon county between Mc Minn and
Monroe, as
http://www.topozone.com/map.asp?z=16&n=3943756&e=723854&s=25
shows it.
2) An intersecting border thus creating those elusive
two-county quadripoints (Besided the 3-4
international, and a few county ones in US, does any
other exist beyond city level and even then?) of
Loudon county in Roane, as
http://www.topozone.com/map.asp?z=16&n=3943756&e=723854&s=25
shows it.
3) An enclave of Loudon in Monroe as
http://www.vanshaver.com/lcmap.htm shows it, though
this one isn't completely confirmed and would like
feedback.
Arif
