the GEEBE is history - a phantastic trip to 9 Eastern<br/>
European tripoints and many bordercrossings....<br/>

a new expedition is taking shape... more about it later...<br/>

attached pls find 2 pics from the Ukrainian borders with<br/>
Slovakia and Hungary - at all the Ukrainian borders we<br/>
visited there was a certain system:<br/>
1. a SK/HU/PL bordermarker (a border post, or &quot;Grenzpfahl&quot;<br/>
    in German, &quot;grenspaal&quot; in Dutch..) any special word for it<br/>
    in English??<br/>
2. the actual boundary marker, usually a white stone...<br/>
3. the UA-BM (another &quot;grenspaal&quot;...painted blue/yellow)<br/>

I had exactly the same experience at that border... no &quot;official<br/>
signs&quot; telling you that you enter Spain/France... <br/>
