Australia is in the time zones GMT+7, GMT+8:30, GMT+9.<br/>

In summer, some states of Australia shift to daylight savings time <br/>
and some don&#39;t, which seems to give this even odder pattern:<br/>

OK so it&#39;s odd, main reason being that the central time is out of <br/>
synch from the usual full hour hops. But at no location do they ever <br/>
get 0:45. All hops are still multiples of 0:30. What&#39;s going on here?<br/>
