Anyone have any information concerning the westernmost part of the
Uzbek-Kazakh border, which descends along a line of longitude to meet
the Turkmen border?
The relevant Operational Navigation Chart prints the old SSR border
on the western side of the longitude line but hard against it, so
it's not clear if this is done merely for clarity or as a real
position. The World Data Base gives it a longitude of 56.000033 -
about 3m *east* of the longitude line.
I've found in the past that when the WDB gets this close to a whole
number, it turns out to be a whole number in reality - the omsaye
tripoint is given in WDB as 51.999999E 18.999977N, but turns out to
be at exactly 52E 19N, by treaty.
So I wonder if the same applies to the kzuz line.
