For all those interested in pre-1947 British India, here&#39;s a site:<br/>

Please check out the maps, which are fairly good in detail. I was <br/>
amazed at the complexity and fragmentation of the various prncely <br/>
states. I wonder: if the British had left India as shown on these <br/>
maps, I believe there wouldn&#39;t be the united &#39;India&#39; (or Pakistan, <br/>
Bangladesh, etc) we see today. <br/>

Another point- the maps are in Spanish, instead of English, but that  <br/>
doesn&#39;t pose much of a hassle.<br/>
