but feast your eyes on greenlands 3 divisions & lonely tripoint at

also consider french guiana with only 2 subdivisions
hence no possibility of an internal tripoint

& palestine with 2 discontiguous subdivisions
hence no possibility even of an internal boundary
not to mention tripoints

& of course there are many places that have no official subdivisions
at all
hence no internal boundaries no tripoints no nothing


changing directions & moving up the ladder
tajikistan evidently has 4 primary subdivisions but only 1 tripoint

swaziland has 4 divisions also but 2 tripoints
& being multipointedly plural it is scarcely even remarkable
etc etc
on up literally into the hundreds for the most greatly subdivided
countries


but from this quick survey it appears that only luxembourg &
greenland & tajikistan share the distinction of enjoying a singular
domestic tripoint
