You're right. It occurs more than once that large companies (and an
army is a bit of a large company) have internal postal codes.

Another "large company" is San Marino. Apart from having an Italian
postal code, the addresses in this republic do have internal
Sammarinese postal codes. I've never seen them in an address, but I
have read about them in a phone book/information guide of San Marino.

The p.c. consists of a letter and a digit, or the other way around, I
don't recall.

So two postal codes here as well. The internal SM postal codes are
probably only for internal mail.
