Welcome Tim!

As an equally obsessed fan of Point Roberts (I live about 45 minutes away in Vancouver), I bid you welcome.  There is a link to my site on PR from the BP site.  And many, many others.

Great news about National Geographic.  I can't wait to see that.  In the meantime, I am pitching a border television series (and radio!) which would include The Point.

Where in the world are you located?

hello boundary point!

what a joy to discover fellow geography maniacs.  for years i thought
i was alone in my obsession with enclaves/exclaves, micronations, and
geographical oddities such as gibraltar and point roberts, WA.

so it's great to join the group and it's great to let you all know
that national geographic will be featuring point roberts, WA as
it's "hip zip" in i believe may's issue.

for those of you not familiar....nationalgeographic.com has a feature
called "hip zips" in which they feature a single zip code each
issue.  last summer i suggested along with baarle, busingen, and
campione d'italia, point roberts.  they responded stating that they
had already been to point roberts and would be publishing the story
this year. (may?)

something to look forward to!
