<div id="ygrps-yiv-1167784767">Those of you who study USA state borders may be aware of<br/>
	USGS Professional Paper 909, dated 1976, which contains<br/>
	a wealth of info about state borders and border monuments.<br/>
<br/>
	I doubt a similar publication exists for Mexico, but am<br/>
	quite keen to locate written info on the location of the<br/>
	Sonora/Chihuahua border, particularly the first 100 miles<br/>
	or so south of the USA line.<br/>
<br/>
	The 1:50,000 scale maps of Mexico don&#39;t show this border.<br/>
	Larger scale maps do show a zigzag, straight lined border,<br/>
	at various locations. (differs on every map ??)<br/>
<br/>
	For what it is worth, when driving dangerous highway 2 recently,<br/>
	the border was marked at the continental divide.<br/>
