And I always wondered if the song Bowie wrote, The Man Who Sold the<br/>
World, was making some reference to that story. (But then, I used to<br/>
wonder if the band Stiff Little Fingers were making an homage to the<br/>
50s SF series The Invaders - turned out they were making reference to<br/>
a two-fingered British sign of dismissal.)<br/>
BTW, I meant to say thanks to you for flagging up a couple of Donald<br/>
Moffitt books I hadn&#39;t read. He turns out stuff so rarely it&#39;s easy to<br/>
miss.<br/>
