went try pointing by moonlight last night<br/>
a possible first<br/>
aiming for the crook deschutes harney tricounty point<br/>
aka usor3crdeha<br/>
but the roads gave out way sooner than expected<br/>

flushed alot of huge white bunnies out of the sagebrush tho<br/>
<br/>
chalk up another class e visit<br/>
e for elusive but excellent as well as eery<br/>
<br/>

also passed yesterday very near the official usgs geographic center of <br/>
oregon<br/>
notwithstanding the disclaimers in bus&ss<br/>
<br/>
for a while<br/>
by my first quick measurement of 25 mi sse of prineville<br/>
as stated there<br/>
i imagined the point fell on a feature named rodman rim<br/>
& i thought what a wonderful idea to name the center point like that after <br/>
such a worldclass bounder who always controlled the rim<br/>
so mdonner gave a big salute to the rim & rodman<br/>
but a more careful measurement after my visit left this shot also short of <br/>
the rim & in fact on the other side of the road<br/>
<br/>
out of time<br/>
& likely even more out of touch for a few days<br/>
in very wide open spaces<br/>
