shortest intl bridge

Bob's mentioning of the shortest international bridge brought to mind our earlier discussions on this and an old black and white photograph that I had laying around.  So, I've scanned the picture of the 'shortest' intl bridge.  I don't agree with this designation, as I have mentioned before, there are a couple of very small ones (less than one meter in length) at the International Peace Garden, although they're not bridges in the sense that we normally think of bridges.  They used to have a little wooden one, but now most are just stepping stones or sod.

Anyway, here's my scan of the bridge that Bob Beckett mentioned.  Sorry about the resolution quality.  I'm not sure how to clean it up.  It seems to get clearer if you zoom in on it.  Apparently the guy who owns the two island (US on right and Canada on left) is of Dutch origin, and so he has posted the Dutch flag precisely on the borderline on the middle of the bridge.

Enjoy
