Fences come down for game reserve
Phalaborwa. Border fences between South Africa, Zimbabwe and Mozambique will
come down to allow elephants and other herds to follow ancestral migration
routes in what will become the world's biggest game reserve. The 38,600-sq
km Gaza-Kruger-Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park is expected to open in 2003.
Perhaps a future south African GCEBE will have to contend not with border
guards, but herds of stampeding pachyderms!
