On the subject of Jungholz, check out the two
topographic sites http://194.245.102.97:8080/ and
http://www.austrianmap.at/ for maps of the area. I am
adding a map from the German site. The Austrian site
is much more detailed, however.
Also, http://www.viamichelin.com has Michelin maps and
the maps are pretty OK for Europe. By the way,
Mapquest now have ortho-pictures of much of America, I
think, which is cool. I got to zoom in on my block
and print it in color.
In About.com, somebody asked questions on free cities
including Fiume, Danzig, Memel, Trieste, Tangier and
Jerusalem theoretically. Was there any others in this
century?
I will add more sites and facts when I get to use my
computer again.
Arif
