Jack,

That's probably another one I have to put on my "must do" list...I definitely want to get to Hall's Stream.  The one I was thinking of was supposed to be directly accessible from US Customs on Rt. 3.  Supposedly that trail is marked with disk markers.

Bill,

I wonder how old that trail is?  I was there with my wife about 10 years ago and hiked in from Old Canaan Rd. (Rt. 253) on the boundary east to Halls Stream.  Also went in from the east from Hall stream Rd.  Both of these roads are off route 3.  There is an
International boundary marker on the E side of rt. 253 and an informational marker at the NH-VT line on rt 3. There was no evidence of a trail in either direction on the boundary in the vicinity of Halls Stream. It was not too dificult to get to the stream from either side, but no markers in or near the stream.

Hope someone else can give you more up to date info.

Jack

I've recently read that a relatively short hiking trail straddles
CAUS at the Route 3 customs posts on the New Hampshire/Quebec
border. Has anyone reading this ever actually hiked this trail?

Bill
