Good afternoon,

Bill Hanrahan founded BoundaryPoint on June 7, 2000.  He has been the group owner since.  On Friday, he asked me to assume ownership and management of the group.  I agreed.  The change was made yesterday afternoon.  Bill remains a member.

I am a long-time member.  I am very familiar with the group.  I choose to remain anonymous to separate personality from management.

Please be reassured.  There will be no major changes.  There will be a few minor changes.

I have restated the BP group description at Yahoo Groups as follows:

BoundaryPoint is an international open discussion group for anyone interested in geographic points along and at the junctions of political boundaries, either international or internal. Tripoints (where three jurisdictions meet) and other multipoints are of special interest to most of our members. BP members research, visit, photograph, map, catalog, and discuss all of these points and the monuments that mark them. We also occasionally discuss general boundary issues, and the human ramifications of political boundaries. No great travel experience is necessary, only a desire to learn. Whether you're into international tripointing or merely into crossing state lines, we hope that you enjoy BoundaryPoint.

I am open to suggestions and comments.  Please do not post them to the group.  You may write to me at BP-owner@...

Thank you.
