the median line if not<br/>
at the western terminus of the demarcated cameroun<br/>
congo boundary<br/>

& the borderbase pushpin is so perfectly placed in<br/>
this case that it cant be improved upon even at the<br/>
tightest possible zoom level<br/>
in the pitch blackness that is produced at google<br/>
earth beyond the range of visibility<br/>
which btw was rather fun to reach<br/>
but it would be pointless to try to stretch this point<br/>
with a diagram<br/>

& the same sources indicate cmgagq is located at<br/>
n lat 2d 10m 20s & e long 11d 20m<br/>
where the demarcated cameroon equatorial guinea<br/>
boundary meets the<br/>
demarcated equatorial guinea gabon boundary<br/>
supposedly more than a mile west of the confluence of<br/>
the rivers kye & mvezeu on the cameroon gabon boundary<br/>
which however is actually reached by an extralegal<br/>
closing stitch<br/>

the difficulty with this is that the confluence is<br/>
some 260 meters north of the stated latitude<br/>
oops<br/>
so it becomes a question of whether the tripoint is<br/>
indeed at the stated latitude <br/>
or at the actual latitude of the confluence <br/>
& thus precisely due west of it<br/>
<br/>
jespers pushpin adopts the former thesis & position<br/>
& i believe he is probably right both in adopting it &<br/>
in locating it<br/>
<br/>
& this would mean the closing stitch is either a<br/>
noncardinal geodetic line or else a combination of a<br/>
cardinal geodetic stitch plus a shorter riverine one<br/>
or some other combination or configuration as yet<br/>
unimagined<br/>
<br/>
but just in case the latter thesis is the correct one<br/>
the attached tripoint stretching diagram is based<br/>
instead upon it<br/>
& is offered with no real confidence & as a merely<br/>
second best guess <br/>
which however cant yet be entirely dismissed without<br/>
better data<br/>

& where to from here you may wonder<br/>
<br/>
well alphabetically it would have been canada if she<br/>
had had any world class tripoints<br/>
which of course she doesnt<br/>
so it is back to the central african republic to scarf<br/>
up her remaining or noncamerounian trio<br/>
