Subject: France-Luxembourg border rail crash<br/>

<div id="ygrps-yiv-774350398">Yesterday morning there was a fatal train crash in France &quot;near the <br/>
border with Luxembourg&quot; which sadly involved the deaths of at least 5 <br/>
people.<br/>

About halfway down the page are two photos of interest next to each <br/>
other. The first shows a 0.0 km marker showing the start of the <br/>
Luxembourg ownership of the line and the second shows a 203.7 km <br/>
marker (measured I believe from a zero point at Strasbourg) plus a <br/>
sign saying &quot;Réseau SNCF&quot; marking the boundary of the French railway <br/>
network.<br/>

It would appear therefore that the position of this tragic accident <br/>
was literally just metres inside French territory and that the area of <br/>
wreckage extends over the border into Luxembourg.<br/>
