i was just noticing & realizing this morning
we have only bulgaria & burkina faso & burundi left to
go
to complete all the busy bees as they have been
programmed in alphabetical sequence into the
borderbase google earth world class magical mystery
caper
when it also dawned on me to ask
but then what happened to belize
so i rushed over to the bzgtmx page at borderbase
central & found this tripoint has indeed been
preprogrammed for google earth there
but has just for some reason not been included in the
initial grand tour
so i had to wonder
shouldnt we just drop directly in on belize right now
& so conveniently
on our way from brazil to bulgaria
for we have in fact already skipped her
alphabetically in english anyway
or on another hand
rather than be so intrusive
shouldnt we just quietly insert belize bz after we
finish burundi bu
while pretending to ignore the fact that her
alphabeticity there is only in iso & not at all in
anglo
& yet still
the perfect place to end all the busy buzzing of the
bees
or on a third hand
rather than be intrusive at all
shouldnt we just insert belize quietly at the end of
the preplanned tour perhaps along with any other
anomalies that may continue to accumulate along the
way
or on a fourth hand
rather than remain conscious of these at all
shouldnt we just forget belize & any other such
anomalies entirely
& accept without further modification or ado the tour
that was actually given by cosmos
& this difficult question might not even have really
come up
had i not been looking so forward to taking another
subtotal of our progress up to that point
as i did following the letter a
just to confirm my guess
& then marvel triumphantly
that the tripoints whose names begin with the letters
a & b alone
comprise half the world class
but then i figured
why create all this busyness & then have to wait til
we finish all these busy bees
just to learn if my surmise is indeed true
so
before even deciding whether to proceed next to bzgtmx
or the erstwhile bgcsro or perhaps even somewhere else
as yet undreamt of
i simply paused to make this otherwise simple & quick
tally of the letters a & b
& ladies & gentlemen
the final score does in fact already appear to be
the letters a & b only
lose
& the rest of the world
wins
oops
for i have just learned it will in fact take until
some time well into the letter cee to reach the
halfway point of the world class
so in case anyone was wondering if we are we nearly
halfway there yet
well the answer simply is
fortunately
no
not even close yet
if there means finished
& truthfully i dont even know how many multipoints
there are in the world class any longer
tho i think we used to count 160
perhaps there are 164 now
or even a few more if territorial seas tripoints are
counted
for why shouldnt they be
so about all i am prepared to guess is the 170
ballpark
but we should have a fairly reliable count by the time
we are finished
if we can all agree on whats what
but anyway i am still wondering
where to next
