you must mean the almost invisible little gray boxy
thing

& in that case i should think this marker in
conjunction with the larger concrete marker at the
turn point must have given you a perfect sight line
down to the tripoint in the middle of the river

i almost feel as tho i am wading in there with you
tho it looks pretty mucky
