aha yes indeed eureka
for this wonderful pic certainly seems to show that
the bypl clearcut centerline boundary deviates
slightly to the east here
as it approaches the river
just as the topo shows it

so bypl strikes the river perhaps still within the
clearcut but no longer at the centerline of the
clearcut in the long view

but was there no other concrete bypl marker available
for sighting the terminal bypl segment down to an
exact terminus & tripoint in the middle of the river

i see at least the one such in rolfs 2nd & 6th pix
here

but cant tell yet if there was or wasnt a second
actual marker
not counting all the territorial pole flags
nor exactly how you zeroed in on the exact tripoint
