dispute or uncertainty<br/>
but the most credible sources including eef all seem<br/>
to agree in placing it at marker 427 on the exact<br/>
saddle point of the portella blanca<br/>

nevertheless the famous pic of the mountain biker<br/>

appears to place the marker on slightly higher ground<br/>
than that <br/>
perhaps some 10 or 20 meters north of the saddle<br/>
bottom<br/>
unless i am deceived<br/>
hence my positioning of the tripoint in the first<br/>
attachment <br/>
based on a fairly careful try using the google earth<br/>
terrain feature<br/>

about the western tripoint aka adesfrw any difference<br/>
of opinion is quite small<br/>
between the very peak of medacorba & the top of the<br/>
unusual pipe or pole marker planted very close to the<br/>
peak<br/>
a variation also of but a few meters if any<br/>
<br/>
so the second attachment shows the location of the<br/>
highest point that i could find anywhere on the<br/>
mountain<br/>
& accordingly i am guessing that is the true summit &<br/>
tripoint <br/>
or near vicinity at least<br/>
at about 9528 feet elevation<br/>
tho the advertised summit elevation is anything up to<br/>
9560 feet <br/>
so i dont know what to make of this discrepancy<br/>
but the position of the little red square again marks<br/>
my best guess<br/>
