yes & a sawanabori or river source point too
so a more than nice find

in fact it says this marker was installed in 2003 at a
new judicially decided position for the br2gomsmt
tristate point
so presumably either as shown here or no longer as
shown here
http://encarta.msn.com/encnet/features/mapcenter/map.aspx?TextLatitude=-18.037672310497555&TextLongitude=-53.07734739687177&TextAltitude=10&TextSelectedEntity=12285&SearchEnc=false&MapStyle=Comprehensive&MapSize=Medium&MapStyleSelectedIndex=0&searchTextMap=cabeceira+alta+do+formoso&MapStylesList=Comprehensive&ZoomOnMapClickCheck=on&ResultsListbox=-16.0300305102914%3B-49.6073429229116%3B5%3B12285%3BGoi%c3%a1s+%28state%29%2C+Brazil%3BMedium%3BComprehensive

& the new position is identified as the source of the
araguaia river
so probably well above its headstream as shown in the
above map at the tightest zoom level
because the report says mato grosso gained some land
from goias
