jesper
no better position can be suggested for the pushpin
than exactly where you have placed it
at exactly n25 x w4d50m
since thats what the treaties do say
so no tripoint stretching attachment is added in this
case

but i just want to mention that tho all the sources
agree with you here
& tho this latitude
at least
will likely pan out more or less exactly right
nevertheless
this longitude
being evidently rounded off to the nearest whole
minute
or possibly even the nearest whole 5 or 10 minutes
is highly subject to improvement
since it is dependent on exactly where the mlmr
convergent riding the nominal 25th parallel eastward
actually does strike the original 1909 continuous
diagonal geodesic line segment that carries both the
dzml & dzmr convergents today

& this intersectional trijunction point is subject to
a much finer reading than our presently estimated
value

but the difficulty of the situation
or rather i should say the present impossibility
is that neither of the longitudes of the terminal
points of this geodesic segment
namely that of dzehmr to the northwest
& of its dzml counterpoint to the southeast
along the road between bordj le prieur & tessalit
is specified anywhere any more accurately than dzmlmr
is

for in each case
per ibs
the value is officially rounded off to the nearest 10
whole minutes

so if or when these 2 terminal points become more
accurately known
this intermediary tripoint at dzmlmr should become far
more accurately known than it is at present
& it can practically be counted on to move some
considerable distance either due east or due west from
where we now have it locked in
