buried at the end of this latest kazungula bridge
report from harare
http://allafrica.com/stories/200608300836.html

"The parties will construct the bridge on the shortest
possible route across the Zambezi River. Parties
acknowledge that the location may traverse boundaries
of their respective territories at Kazungula and
thereby agree that this will not affect construction.

"In the event that the bridge is located wholly or a
greater part of it in the territory of any one of the
parties, the bridge shall remain jointly owned. Any
parties which may have outstanding issues concerning
the common boundary agree to continue consultation on
the demarcation and delimitation of the common
boundary at Kazungula in an effort to reach a final
and binding settlement."

so
these new specs
on top of yesterdays report that islands too may be
utilized to facilitate the crossing
seem to keep pushing the projected bridge location
downriver
at least a kilometer now
& maybe several to many km below the chobe mouth
from the looks of this satpic
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&z=12&ll=-17.805082,25.282974&spn=0.16017,0.234146&t=h&om=1
& thus not just out of range of namibia but of
botswana too

the bwnazmzw & chobe zambezi convergence are just a
little above left of dead center

so any relevance to multipointing or help in
ascertaining the parameters of the bwnazmzw quadriarea
the project may once have seemed to hold forth appear
to be slipping away with it

but here is some gratuitous fun it generated
