& it may well be that the man in the yellow jacket is
holding onto the tripoint marker
but i would still like to see better evidence of it
in fact the pix & data here suggest right off that the
tripoint must be situated in a rocky rather than a
grassy spot http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Korab
which makes me seriously doubt the claim
& that would place the subsequently arisen alcsmk
tripoint
i would guess
approximately if not exactly at old alcs marker number

or perhaps more likely the next peak just south of
there
named kepi bar or bard & indicated at elevation 2595m
since that one does so auspiciously mark a ridgeline
junction
albeit without any border marker indicated on it by
the map
but in any case the true tripoint should be very near
the soviet map coords
horizontal 29 x vertical 65
still i hope someone can match up some of this
possibly best available photography with the
topography shown on the above soviet topo
which is still the best available mapping of the area
