yes great point thanx

it appears to have been a major tripoint since 1815
& even what could be called a tricountry point until
1870 or 1871
unless i am mistaken

indeed we should call it continental fre
for i was only cribbing from & deferring to your
excellent text there

&
even beyond the corsican & or true metropolitan fre
available in both a dry & a wet version btw
which are located
respectively
somewhere upon & somewhere just off the east coast of
corsica
we could even entertain a domtom or ultramarine or
absolute or really extremest possible fre

perhaps therefore aka free

& i would guess this point is somewhere in the
easternmost territorial sea off new caledonia
or better yet
make that its easternmost eez
which you can only imagine from this subdivisional map
a few degrees still farther east of the east coast of
the easternmost island of mare
http://www.monde-diplomatique.fr/cartes/nouvellecaledonie
tho you can clearly see at least someones idea of the
easternmost major tripoint of france there
namely fr2nc3ilnosu i think
