thanx to the recent thread begun by brendan &
explained by chris
i was inspired to pursue the virgin heninw myself last
night
as far as bad karlshafen in the north of hesse
http://www.norseaodyssey.com/Our_Travels/Europe/Germany/Land_Of_Fairy_Tales/land_of_fairy_tales.htm
in or very near which i am pretty sure but not quite
certain yet
that i have located her dry position on this hessian
zoomable map
http://lika.hessen.de/cgi-bin/lika-order/Workflow.plx?ACTION_PARAM_1=530569&ACTION_PARAM_2=724090&ACTION_PARAM_3=4&ACTION_PARAM_4=NORMAL&ACTION_PARAM_5=STREET&ACTION_PARAM_6=SMALL&ACTION_PARAM_7=ALK&SESSION_ID=17221017032e7f30ffe69bc2bf48f01e&WORKFLOW_ACTION=SHOW_VIEWER&img.x=159&img.y=157
since for some reason our resident compiler himself is
still not committed to this position & condition
http://grenzen.150m.com/germantripoints.htm
nor curiously to the 15th german tristate point either
for that matter
de2bysnth aka bavaria saxony thuringia

but if the above map is correct then heninw would
appear to be so close to a road that i suspect someone
must already have looked for & found a marker there
& photographed it
& hung it online

but where

last known roundup of de2 was 3 years ago
