my latest guess about these egsd signs btw is that<br/>
they were installed by egypt shortly after the<br/>
altercation of 1992 in which she flexed her muscles<br/>
toward the sudan & finally asserted her full treaty<br/>
sovereignty as far south as the 22nd parallel all the<br/>
way from the red sea to eglysd<br/>
just when she would so very naturally have taken the<br/>
trouble to unilaterally mark this whole line except<br/>
the nile salient<br/>
at regular intervals like any land owner posting<br/>
private property <br/>

& since the red sea is just about exactly 10 degrees<br/>
east of egsd sign number 50 at 22x27<br/>
i figure that means 1 sign every 12 minutes at most<br/>
so the sequence should end at 60 or lower not very far<br/>
from eglysd<br/>
tho perhaps at a much more respectful distance from<br/>
libya than sudan <br/>
hence not necessarily very close to eglysd at all<br/>
& in fact maybe even necessarily not at all close to<br/>
it<br/>
so as not to risk any such dustup with libya<br/>
<br/>
& these 1934ish lysd signs seem to be very much the<br/>
same sort of unilateral muscle flexing thing<br/>
tho by italy in that case<br/>
to post the most frequented portion at least of her<br/>
newly acquired or asserted sovereign limits<br/>

so equally red herrings all i think at this point &<br/>
equally demystified too<br/>
