happily the 19th century dam at scudders falls has
long since collapsed

restoring the main channel to its natural wetness
across at least a 20 foot kayaking slot

& obliterating any trace of what may once have been
but probably never really was
a dry stitch of an official njpa state line
delineation

2 other wing dams between njnypa & denjpa might also
once have been completely dry
but also arent any more

a fishing license from either nj or pa is valid on the
njpa sector of the delaware river for both shore &
boat fishing

it might be most fun tho to test the game wardens in
the back channels of both njpa & nypa by fishing with
the license of the concurrent jurisdiction
just to confirm if the police condos really are
confined to the main channel
as per 1890 de jure nypa
or still have the many island holes in them dating
back to 1780s de jure njpa

just fishing for trilines of course
