& i have corrected this guy about this in the past too<br/>
but he evidently likes his story too much<br/>

the real reason is simply that this rock was the<br/>
terminal marker of a bilateral remonumentation of the<br/>
massachusetts new york state line<br/>
<br/>
& so naturally it looks like all the others in that<br/>
series<br/>
<br/>
nothing trilateral about it<br/>
nor was it designed to mark a tripoint<br/>
tho it does<br/>
