another account of a try to reach kalipani
http://www.blog.com.np/?p=661
which however was interrupted & prevented by maoist guerrillas
nevertheless confirms a locality by this name in the immediate cninnpw triarea
the control of which was indeed very much in doubt at the time
as well as nearby rivers named tinkar & mahakali or great kali
both of which are said to descend from cninnpw by the cnnp ibs study number 50

the pani in kalipani btw evidently means springs

& the account also mentions another nearby river named kuti
which might have given its name to the village of kuthi that is indicated by multimap
more or less exactly at the tripoint
albeit farther down a stream by encarta

more neighborhood pix
including portraits of some local kalipani people
http://www.geocities.com/lei_parker/2002/page3.html
but it looks like this is as close as it is possible to get to this uncertain destination point
