third item here
entitled mixed signals
http://www.laboratorium.net/archives/2001_01.html
illuminates the berkshirean version brilliantly
& also distinguishes it
albeit not from the mexican version
but from a third version that also prevails elsewhere
around nafta
such as here in connecticut

& a bit more than halfway down this page
http://www.absoluteastronomy.com/encyclopedia/t/tr/traffic_light.htm
is word that a great part of europe follows the
mexican standard

however
about halfway down the page here
in the last paragraph under the subtitle
new road safety act etc
http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:WMHgIHDK--EJ:www.gzs.si/eng/ASPDatoteka.asp%3FID%3D194+japan+%22blinking+green+light%22&hl=en&start=39&client=safari
is a hint that europe may be moving away from the
mexican standard

tho by no means necessarily all of europe

nor necessarily all the way over to the berkshirean
version

all of which together means there are no fewer than
three distinct prevalent versions of blinking green
even without knowing or counting the japanese meaning
of this signal
which could present a fourth version
or more

but the threesome or multihood meld of blinking greens
is already well established even without considering
japan

& thus the actual rain delay that is still being
experienced at this time may well indicate that the
various european & or japanese influences are already
being felt in the berkshires
& that the multimensional engagement of the three 44
ensembles may therefore already be fully effective

it also seems noteworthy that tho the berkshirean &
japanese ensembles are believed to be fairly stable at
44
the european collection remains highly volatile & is
subject to grow at any moment into 45 or 46 or 47
or who knows what
or when

so the historic window of opportunity for making this
multidimensional perfection ensemble try also a
multilevel ensemble try may in fact be strictly
limited by the relative evanescence of this historic
coincidence

& probably especially so by the ongoing developments
in the balkans

but in any case the opportunity & try cannot be
expected to last forever
