Perhaps some of you can help me.

I understand that on the Mexican side of the USMX border, the Mexicans

do another customs and immigration check 10-20 km south of the border

area.

In and around Geneva, Switzerland, does France conduct secondary
checks several km beyond the actual FRCH border?

Are there any other countries that have places where they conduct
border checks several km from the border?
