Nice find, aletheia! But shouldn't you really be
describing this tripoint change as "pseudo- giving way
to ortho- ... or even aletheio-"??? :-) It isn't
really the same sort of thing as "archaeo- becoming
neo-," as you have just suggested the situation at
CSHURO could be. (I think, more understandably and
rightly in that case.)
Also, closing this triangle with a straight edge, by
extending the south line of Wilson Co. eastward from
the northeast corner of Wayne Co. shown on the topo,
as I think you meant, tells me Greene Co. would have
to be crazy to start taking care of that bridge!
(Unless it too has moved since this 1993 map was
drawn, the bridge remains in Wilson!! Or maybe this
angle is wrong, and your 2% fudge factor not as small
as you think??)
