yesterdays try for the tripoint of the towns of blue hill & penobscot & sedgwick fell shy of the mark owing to intervening private property & an impatient companion
found the pese marker on the north side of the highway just fine
tho not its south sided partner btw
& might have just barged in the driveway of the private home there & asked directions of the owner
since the people are awfully nice around here
perhaps tomorrow
will try again tomorrow in any case
with a fallback approach from the north on the kingdom road side if needed
tho this way in is much longer
the road stone i did find was the first maine town line rock i have seen
looked remarkably like a common undressed 4x1x1 massachusetts town line stone
not so surprising in view of the common history of the 2 states
