http://mdc.mo.gov/conmag/1997/01/50.htm
starts slow but flows
trust me

& not to be outdone
http://iagenweb.org/history/moi/moi25.htm

& similarly but differently
http://iagenweb.org/history/soi/soi32.htm
which ends with & at a large iron terminal pillar
aka monumental iamow
that appears in the first attachment as a rusting
obeliskoid
& which i found unexpectedly at the red cursor cross
location here
http://topozone.com/map.asp?z=15&n=4496298&e=267686&s=50&size=l&datum=nad83&layer=DRG25

but then i still had to pick & hack my way from there
thru a mile of corn & thickets to reach the foot of
the riprap shown on the topo just below river mile 533
from where i snapped a first & best shot of iamone
class d
nearly perfectly centered in the second attachment

later the same day
on the nebraska side
jc & i managed to slog our way down to the creek mouth
directly below iamone
which you can see if you pan west once from the above
topo frame
& i shot a second class d pic
likewise with the tripoint nearly perfectly centered
in the third attachment
& it was no improvement at all on the previous pic
except that the 2 actually face each other directly
across the tripoint

versions of the line tho
