honoring the Treaties of Paris which ended the allied occupation<br/>
statute and returned considerable sovereignty to W. Germany (Berlin<br/>
remained occupied).  <br/>
<br/>
We were coincidentally discussing the status of bases the other day,<br/>
so this seemed appropriate to post - I uploaded a photo of the stamp<br/>
(photo 69 in the photo library - &quot;End of O...&quot;).<br/>
