I've got some travel tips.

Croatian wine makes good buys. They're good and high quality for their
price range.

If you go to Bosnia, use up or change all of your Bosnian marks in the
country. They'll be impossible to change outside the country. In
Montegero, try not to take Yugoslav dinars and insist on euros.

The hidden gem of your trip will be Kotor, Montenegro. It is a beautiful
gem of a fortified Venetian city that is a UNESCO World Heritage site
virtually undiscovered by Western tourists.

Between Herceg Novi and Risan on the Bay of Kotor is an excellent restaurant
a little inland from the main road. But I'm not much help here because I
can't remember the name.

I know someone in Kotor so contact me if you want a local introduction.
