This peak, Ainodake, is a bit off from the tripoint. See this map:

http://map.yahoo.co.jp/pl?
nl=35.38.28.631&el=138.13.18.526&la=1&fi=1&sc=5

Ainodake is the peak labeled 3189m.

The above site comes from a website which has collected old provincial
tripoints, peaks, which all have the version of the name "three
provinces".

Click on column six and you'll get a map of each point. The first set
consists of such peaks. Unfortunately I don't know of detailed map
sites of Japan that use English.
