No, but I believe one can still use their postage stamps to mail
letters from anywhere in South Africa. There was once a cut off date,
which got extended and extended again, until there just was no
definitive date by which they old stamps were demonetized. They were
issued in RSA currency and sold through the RSA post office philatelic
bureau and at POs in the homelands. An "ueberbleibsel".
