well
monumented or marked on the ground
is what demarcation generally means

but yes
to answer the excellent question you must have meant

the delineation agreed to in the 1676 so called quintipartite deed
was actually marked in this case in 1687
tho only part of the way
per
http://www.njarchives.org/links/pdf/proprietors.pdf
especially pp 9&10
where dig these crazy but true maps
which indicate
among other fascinating things
that west jersey originally had a mystery exclave
tho its border was never marked
nor in all probability was its existence even realized at the time

also you are probably aware that 5 modern county lines still
show traces of this old border
http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/maps/new_jersey_map.html
on which a 1687 survey marker could conceivably yet be
recovered
especially near the right bank of the raritan where that survey is
known to have terminated
& also near the southeasternmost dune of long beach island
its point of origin

but good luck to anyone who tries
since they are both in such obviously fickle locations
& no other locations are known

also
if any marker from this survey is ever found
i think it might be the oldest known working rock in america
