      It wasn&#39;t the whole of Gujarat, but a part of it<br/>
that was claimed by Pakistan.  In an opposite case<br/>
from Kashmir, Junagadh was was led by a muslim ruler<br/>
even though the population was mostly Hindu.  The<br/>
muslim ruler opted to join Pakistan, but India took it<br/>
over.  Pakistan claimed but failed to occupy the area<br/>
until 1965.<br/>
